ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Qurat ul Ain on Thursday said that tax and energy sector reforms initiated by the government would help increase economic activity in the country.
Revisiting agreements with Independent Power Producers would have positive impact on industrial sector, she said while talking to state news channel program.
In reply to a question about privatization process, she said efforts for privatization of sick units would help streamline the system in different sectors.
To another question, she said, there is a need to promote public-private partnership program to uplift the country’s economy.
Commenting on high energy rates, she said, we should facilitate local industries so that export target could be achieved in a proper manner.
