ISLAMABAD, Jul 26 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam on Friday said it was the responsibility of the provincial government to maintain peace and law and order in the province.
Addressing a joint press conference along with the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar, Amir Muqam said that currently there was no operation underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and country’s top leadership has
already clarified on the matter.
Amir Muqam rejected all allegations of the Opposition about the operation all such news reports were false and concocted.
The law enforcement agencies were maintaining peace in the KP province, he added.
Amir Muqam said, all political powers gathered under the umbrella of National Action Plan and the past Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) regime had permitted to establish the counter-terrorism department (CTD) offices in the KP province.
