PM pays tribute to Shaheed Jawans of Pak Army, KPK CTD


ISLAMABAD, July 10 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday paid tribute to Jawans of Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter Terrorism Department for their successful intelligence-based operation in Hassan Khel area of Peshawar.

The prime minister paid tribute to personnel of security forces who fought with valour to take out terrorist commander Abdul Rahim and other terrorists and laid down their lives, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

He prayed for the high ranks of shaheed Sepoy Muhammad Idrees, Sepoy Badam Gul of Pakistan Army and Taj Mir sub inspector and ASI Muhammad Akram of CTD KPK and expressed condolences with the bereaved families.

“The brave sons of the soil have laid down their lives while sending terrorists to hell,” a press release in Urdu language quoted the prime minister as saying.

He said the entire nation saluted the unprecedented sacrifices of its shuhada.

The prime minister also reiterated the resolve to completely efface the specter of terrorism.

On X account, the prime minister said, “The whole nation joins me in paying rich tributes to the soldiers of Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CTD for eliminating terrorist commander Abdul Rahim and other terrorists in a successful intelligence-based operation in Hasan Khel area of ​​Peshawar district.”

The loss of four security forces officials exemplified the ongoing sacrifices made by the armed forces and law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of the motherland, he said, adding “We will forever be grateful and indebted to our martyrs. My deepest condolences to their families!”
