ISLAMABAD, Sep 11 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police Inspector General (IG) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held a Khuli Kutchery at the Central Police Office.
During the Khuli katchery, IG listened to the issues of citizens and police officers and issued directives on the spot for their resolution, a police spokesman said .
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that resolving citizens’ issues on merit was top priority, he said.
He said negligence and carelessness in duties will not be tolerated.
The IG said any citizen facing any issue related to the police can come to the Khuli Kutchery, he said.
Ali Nasir Rizvi further directed the concerned officers to resolve the citizen grievances on merit within the stipulated time frame and report back to the Central Police Office, he added.
Rizvi directed all SDPOs and SHOs to adhere to the designated office hours and prioritize resolving citizens’ issues, he said.
He said IG strictly directed the officers to continue the crackdown against land grabbers and bring them to justice.
On this occasion, the IG ICT said that the Islamabad Police were taking various measures for the facilitation of citizens, he said.
The IG said the daily holding of Khuli Kutchery helped in resolving issues on a priority basis, he added.
Moreover, all zonal officers and SHOs were directed to meet citizens during the designated office hours and resolve their issues promptly and on merit.
